Great Tourist Attractions in the USA

If you have a chance to travel in the US, don't miss these following places!!!

1. Golden Gate Bridge


The Golden Gate Bridge is a famous suspension bridge in California, USA. For many years, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world. It joined the city of San Francisco with the Marin Penisula cross the 1600 meter wide strait known as the Golden Gate which connects the San Francisco Bay with the Pacific Ocean. It is at its most enchanting in the morning when the bridge is often shrouded in mist. But the bridge is also alluring at night when the lighting makes it seem as if spires of the towers dissolve in the darkness.

2. Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is located entirely in the northern Arizona and is one of the great tourist attractions in the USA. Caved out by the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon is the most spectacular gorge in the world. Located in the state of Arizona, it cuts across the Grand Canyon National Park. It is among the earth's greatest on-going geological spectacles.

3. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, established in 1916, is a US. National Park located in the U.S State of Hawaii. This site contains two of the most active volcanoes in the world, Mauna Loa and Kilauea, both of which tower over the Pacific Ocean. Volcanic eruptions have created a constantly changing landscape, and the lava flows reveal surprising geological formations. Rare birds and endemic species can be found there, as well as forests of giant ferns. The United Nations has named the park both an international biosphere reserve and a World Heritage site.

4. Lake Tahoe

Imagine a perfect alpine lake, smooth-as-glass green water, towering snowcaped mountain peaks and a sky that seems always to be sunny, and you're looking at Lake Tahoe, situated where California and Nevada meet. Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada range of the US. It's home to number of ski resorts, summer outdoor recreatin, and tourists attractions. Snow and skiing are a significant part of the area's economy and reputation. Mountain and lake scenery are atractions throughout the year.

5. Mount Rushmore

Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a sculpture carved into the grantite face of Mount Rushmore near Keystone, South Dakota, in the United States. Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a huge mountain sculpture of four US president, located near Keystone, in the Black Hills of  South Dakota. The presidents depicted are: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. These four presidents were chosen to represent the founding, growth and preservation of the United States. Mount Rushmore National Memorial attracts approximately two million people annually.

6. Niagara Falls

The Niagara Falls are the most powerful waterfalls in North America. These voluminous waterfalls are situated on the Niagara River, straddling the international border between the Canadian province of Ontario and the U.S. state of New York. The falls are 17 miles north-north west of Buffalo, New York and 75 miles south-southeast of Toronto, Ontario, between the twin cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Niagara Falls, New York. Niagara Falls has long been a source of inspiration for explorers, travels, artists, authors, filmmakers, residents and visitors. Peak numbers of visitors occur in the summertime, when Niagara Falls are both a daytime and evening attraction. The number of visitors to Niagara Falls is expected to be 30 million annually.

7. The Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States and is a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. The Statue of Liberty is 46.5 meter high and together with the pedestal it reaches 93 meter. People can take the staircase inside the statue and walk all the way up the 354 steps to the crown from where they have a nice view over New York City. Millions of people visit The Statue of Liberty every year.

8. Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park lies in the heart of California. With its "hanging" valley, many waterfalls, cirque lakes, polished domes, moraines and U-shaped valley, its provides an excellent overview of all kinds of granite relief fashioned by glaciation. At 600-4,000m, a great variety of flora and fauma can also be found here. One of the country's premier national park, Yosemite receives millions of visitors each year with more than four million people visting the Yosemite Valley alone. It's home to the biggest piece of exposed granite in the world, some of the highest waterfalls, and giant redwoods that are among the tallest and oldest trees on earth.

Great sharing my Friend! These places are the most famous and major tourist attraction in USA that you mention in this blog. I am tourist and like to visit in different places for my travel interest. I visit in one of these destinations in my life. Niagara Falls is my favourite places in the world. I visit in this places before my yellowstone tour from salt lake city.Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls (Victoria Falls, Lguazu Fall, and American falls) that straddle the international border between Canada and the United States. It is also located between the province of Ontario and the state of New York.

USA is one of the largest and most diverse countries in the world. This region boasts an amazing amount of tourist destinations ranging from the skyscrapers of New York and Chicago the natural wonders of Yellowstone and Alaska to the sunny beaches of California, Florida and Hawaii. Niagara Falls is one of my favorite tourist attractions in the world. I have been there a month ago during my new york to niagara falls with my friends. It is one of the most spectacular natural wonders on the North America continent.

I have been visited in Golden Gate bridge before my west coast tours usa. Golden Gate Bridge is the most famous and historical place in California. Thousands of people come here to see this historical bridge. The bridge is one of the most internationally recognized symbols of San Francisco, California, and the United States. It has been declared one of the Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. It is the most beautiful and certainly the most photographed bridge in the world. I really like this bridge in California.
